Finding Meaning After 9/11
Catastrophes like 9/11 or Hurricane Katrina shocked us and made us aware that we can feel pain in ways we never imagined, as individuals and as a collective body. What are we learning from these experiences that are going to enhance our own wisdom? Consider the idea that pain can act as a catalyst for the transformation of consciousness, and it can give us a more profound sense of meaning and direction in our lives. Pain is a wake-up call that seeks our response.
In this workshop we will be given skills to assist us in healing and transforming our emotional, mental, spiritual and physical pain, whether it be in relationship to 9/11, hurricane Katrina, circumstances in our personal lives, the Iraq war or the present political climate. You will learn to:
- Become aware of areas in your life where you feel stuck.
- Remove blockages that are in the way of allowing you to be your True Self.
- Learn how to convert pain into meaningfulness and growth.
- Recognize your gifts
- Co-create the life you love.
The workshop approaches include psychology, spirituality and the effects of nutrition on emotions and resilience. By learning to move thorough our pain we can gain greater understanding and deeper wisdom, contributing to a happier, safer and healthier future Come and join us in this interactive workshop.
